On behalf of the Sandon Historical Society, you are cordially invited to join us for the Slocan Valley premiere of "1910: The Uncovering" – the latest Nikkei history documentary by part-time resident Chad Townsend.

This powerful film will be screened at New Denver's Knox Hall at 6 pm on Friday, March 6, along with two other short films with a Japanese-Canadian theme. The event is a fundraiser with admission by donation (via cash or card).

"1910: The Uncovering" examines the tragic Rogers Pass avalanche that killed 58 railway workers, most of Japanese descent, and features Revelstoke's Tomo Fujimura, a ski guide and avalanche expert.

We hope to see you there!
